cPen Network Complete Guide 2026: HATN Mining, Referrals, KYC & A–Z (My Honest System)
Every guide in this series so far has started with either an exchange welcome pack or a mining app with one token. cPen Network breaks that pattern in a way you must understand before you tap anything. cPen is not an exchange, and it is not a one-token mining app either. It is a free mobile tap-to-claim app that has already run through two tokens, CPEN and INK, and today mines a third, HATN. If you join today, you do not mine CPEN and you do not mine INK. You mine HATN, and HATN today is an in-app balance that cannot be withdrawn, transferred or sold. That single fact decides whether cPen is worth your time, and most articles about it either hide it or are too old to know it. This guide covers all of it honestly: the three-token timeline, how HATN claims really work, the referral programme, KYC, the old miners’ distributions, the safety warnings, and the scams to avoid.

Today in cPen Network: 28 October 2026 — read this box first
Before you install anything, here is the live position on 28 October 2026, taken from cPen’s own homepage and whitepaper, both updated in October 2026.
First, HATN is the only thing a new joiner mines. CPEN mining ended on 28 February 2025 and INK mining ended on 30 July 2026. The app’s current description on Google Play says it plainly: check in once a day to claim HATN, the Human Attention Token. The whitepaper says HATN is “not an on-chain token, and it cannot be withdrawn or transferred” today. There is no announced date, rate or mechanism for converting HATN into anything on-chain. Anyone telling you that you can cash out HATN today is wrong.
Second, the referral programme changed on 19 October 2026. Under the programme as reported by two news sites citing cPen’s official announcement, the inviter earns 75 HATN for their next eligible invite and then 25 HATN for each additional eligible friend, while each invited friend earns 25 HATN. The standing rule alongside it is that the inviter also earns 10% of a referred friend’s daily mining rewards, but only on days when the inviter also makes a claim. These amounts are second-hand reports of an official announcement, not figures printed in the whitepaper, and no end date for the programme has been published. Treat them as the current reported terms, and check the app before quoting them to anyone.
Third, INK Phase 2 is coming, but not for you if you are new. INK is being distributed in three phases to miners who passed KYC with a liveness check by 21 August 2026. Phase 1 went out on 18 September 2026 to 150,301 wallets. Phase 2 is set for 11 December 2026 and Phase 3 for 5 March 2027. New joiners do not qualify, because the INK mining and KYC windows are closed. I have not published a separate airdrop post for cPen on this basis: there is no new live airdrop for new users on 28 October 2026.
Fourth, the weekly prize draw is paused. Chasepot, the free-entry 6/45 draw funded by app advertising, currently shows “Chasepot is currently paused. No draws are running” on cPen’s homepage. Do not join cPen for Chasepot today.
Fifth, the buyback-and-burn engine is still running daily. cPen’s homepage on 28 October 2026 shows 358,041,921 CPEN burned, 10.59% of supply, and 22,253,948 INK burned, 4.15% of total supply, with the most recent indexed burns dated 28 October 2026. Advertising revenue buys CPEN and INK on the market through the day, and the wallet balance is swept to the burn address in a daily burn from 02:00 UTC. That is a real, checkable on-chain mechanism, and it is also the reason the project calls itself a closed-loop economy.
What cPen Network actually is
cPen Network, at cpen.io, calls itself “The World’s First Closed-Loop Mobile-Mining Economy” and “The Digital Currency For Everyone”. The idea is simple: instead of mining with expensive hardware, you claim rewards on your phone every day, and the project funds token buybacks and burns from real advertising revenue. The homepage claims more than 180,000 verified miners and says it is 100% free to start. The app is published on Google Play by Cpenio Inc., based in Markham, Canada, and it has more than 1 million downloads on Google Play with a 4.07 rating from around 26,258 reviews at the time I checked. It is available on both Android and iOS, and it contains ads. The team describes itself as a tiny team with no outside investment and no pre-sale, and no individual founder name is published in the current whitepaper.
Do not import the exchange sections of my other guides into cPen. There is no deposit, no spot trading, no futures trading, no grid trading, no Simple Earn or Vault, no Launchpool, no Megadrop, no HODLer airdrop and no learn-and-earn quiz programme inside cPen. It is not an exchange, so there is no signup bonus in USDT, no first-deposit reward and no first-trade reward. What cPen has instead is daily claims, referrals, in-app tasks, a steps programme, an in-app currency called Dan, a burn programme called Burnchase, and a paused prize draw. Anyone selling you a cPen futures strategy, a cPen staking APY or cPen quiz answers is selling you something else. One widely shared article about staking CPEN at 791% APY is about a completely different project’s token, not cPen Network.
One naming warning matters before you search for anything else. cPen’s first token was originally called PEN and is now CPEN. Old articles saying “mine PEN” refer to this project, but PEN is not its current ticker. Do not confuse cPen’s CPEN with Protocon (PEN), Pendulum (PEN) or Pentagon Games (PEN), and do not confuse cPen’s INK with any other INK token, with Kraken’s Ink chain, or with a stock ticker. The only reliable check is the contract address on BNB Smart Chain, which I give you in the safety box below.
The three-token timeline: the section every other guide gets wrong
This timeline is the most important part of the guide, because it explains why two different friends can both be right about cPen and still disagree about what it pays.
CPEN was the first era, from October 2023 to 28 February 2025. Users mined CPEN in the app, and the deadline to complete KYC and register a BSC wallet was 11 March 2025. Distribution began on 24 March 2025. CPEN is a BEP-20 token on BNB Smart Chain, and its supply was set by how many people mined, for how long and how actively. Trackers put its total supply at around 3.38 billion, and the allocation was 60% app mining, 12% mainnet rewards, 10% team, 10% treasury and 8% ecosystem. The 12% mainnet rewards allocation has since been retired: its remaining balance stays locked, but the lock’s withdrawal rights now belong to the burn address, so cPen no longer controls it. CPEN trades on PancakeSwap. Third-party trackers on 28 October 2026 put its price at roughly $0.00082 to $0.00084, with only around $23,000 of liquidity and around $2,000 of daily volume. That thin market matters: selling any meaningful amount would move the price hard.
INK was the second era, and it ended on 30 July 2026. INK mining switched over to HATN automatically. The KYC and liveness-check deadline for INK was 21 August 2026, and verified INK is being distributed in three phases of about one third each, automatically to the BSC wallet address saved in the app, with no claim website, no form and no wallet connection. Phase 1 went out on 18 September 2026 to 150,301 wallets, and trading opened on PancakeSwap the same day. Phase 2 follows on 11 December 2026 and Phase 3 on 5 March 2027. A 5% processing fee applies in total, not per phase. If a wallet address was missing or invalid, missed phases are re-sent once it is fixed, until 1 September 2027, after which unclaimed INK is never minted. INK’s maximum supply is hard-capped on-chain at 1.2 billion, with 70% for the community, 12% treasury, 10% team and 8% ecosystem. Users who verified could also lock INK for 180, 365 or 730 days for bonuses of 6%, 15% or 40%. INK’s last price I could date was around $0.001592 on 21 October 2026, with about $41,000 of liquidity. I found no 28 October INK price, so I will not present the 21 October figure as today’s price.
HATN is the third era, and it is the only one open to you. HATN stands for Human Attention Token. It is planned as the native token of a future network called the Human Attention Network, which is where the previously planned open cPen mainnet is now headed. There is no mainnet launch date, a public testnet is planned for 2027, and how HATN balances in the app will move to that network “will be explained in a separate announcement”. Until then, HATN is an in-app balance stored on cPen’s servers. That is the honest position, and it is also why this guide’s verdict is cautious rather than celebratory.
The honest headline: no bonus in cash, no withdrawal today — yet
Let me answer the questions every reader asks first, plainly.
Is there a cPen signup bonus? Not in cash, and not a bonus tied to any specific code, including mine. Under the referral programme reported on 19 October 2026, a friend who joins through an invite link earns 25 HATN, and the inviter earns 75 HATN for their next eligible invite and 25 HATN for each one after that, plus 10% of the friend’s daily mining rewards on days the inviter also claims. Those are HATN, an in-app balance with no cash value today, not USDT and not a tradeable token. No source ties a different or extra bonus to my code specifically, and I will not invent one.
Join cPen Network here — referral code earncontinue
My referral code is earncontinue, and it is in the link above: https://www.cpen.io/?r=earncontinue&s=share. Open that link, install the official cPen app from the App Store or Google Play, and enter earncontinue when the app asks for a referral or invitation code. Two conditions matter for the referral rewards: the friend must install from the App Store or Google Play, because sign-ups through the APK or web version do not qualify, and the friend must complete KYC, because rewards tied to incomplete KYC are removed. Fake, duplicate or suspended accounts are removed, and creating multiple accounts violates the terms.
Can I withdraw HATN today? No. The whitepaper says so directly, and the app’s own store description says HATN rewards have no guaranteed monetary value. Do not let any video or post tell you otherwise.
Is cPen listed on an exchange? CPEN and INK trade on PancakeSwap, a decentralised exchange, not on a centralised exchange. The team has said INK is not listed on any centralised exchange, and warned that tokens sent to an unsupported exchange address may be permanently lost. Talk of a future centralised listing after the INK phases is community speculation, not an official announcement, and a “10x price target” mentioned in community posts is a hope, not a promise.
What is one HATN worth? Nothing on any market, because HATN is not a token yet. There is no HATN price, no HATN supply figure and no HATN conversion rate to quote. Any article giving you one is inventing it.
That is the honest offer in one paragraph. cPen costs nothing but a few taps a day and your attention, it may one day convert HATN into something real, and today it is unproven. Use it only with time you can afford to lose, and only through the official app and site.
Step by step: starting cPen the safe way
Do this in order, and do not skip the wallet warning.
First, open my link on your phone: https://www.cpen.io/?r=earncontinue&s=share. Install the official cPen Network app from the App Store or Google Play listing it leads you to. The Android publisher is Cpenio Inc. and the package is io.cpen.mobile. If a store listing shows a different publisher, stop. Remember that only store installs qualify for referral rewards, and mining itself is only available through the official app, not the web app or a sideloaded APK.
Second, create your account and enter the referral code earncontinue when asked. Use an account and a login you control and will not lose, because losing access to a mining account is how people lose months of claims. cPen’s own team says it never sends direct messages first, so anyone messaging you about your account is not the team.
Third, make your daily claims. A mining day is a UTC calendar day, and you can make up to four claims per UTC day. As reported from the official announcement, the base claim is 5 HATN, with multipliers of 1.0x on the first claim, 1.1x on the second, 1.3x on the third and 1.5x on the fourth, which works out to 5 plus 5.5 plus 6.5 plus 7.5, or 24.5 HATN at most per day before referral and steps bonuses. Those base and multiplier figures are second-hand reports, not numbers printed in the whitepaper or terms, which say only that the values in effect are shown in the app. A cooldown applies between claims, and the exact length is shown in-app. You do not need to keep the app open, and there is no continuous mining session any more. The old 24-hour tap sessions described in old guides are dead.
Fourth, protect your streak. cPen’s terms confirm a system of personal days, holidays, grace periods and inactivity deductions for UTC days from 15 September 2026. As reported, a personal day covers a missed day with a single basic tap, vacation credit builds slowly at 0.02 per claim with 50 needed for one covered day, and uncovered gaps are charged on a rising ladder. The ladder figures are second-hand, so I will not print them as official, but the mechanism is real and the lesson is practical: a missed day can cost you balance, not just a day’s earnings. If you slip, app version 1.3.33 and later adds a one-tap Reclaim that restores inactivity deductions from the last 30 days, provided you make a basic claim on four consecutive UTC days. The first HATN mining holiday, Attention Day, gave double rewards on 24 October 2026 and has now ended, so do not expect it this week.
Fifth, complete KYC with a liveness check and save a self-custody BSC wallet address in the app, such as MetaMask or Trust Wallet, that you control. Never use a centralised-exchange deposit address for distributions. For CPEN and INK the KYC deadlines have passed, and no KYC deadline for new HATN miners has been announced yet, so completing KYC today is preparation, not a guaranteed qualification for a future distribution. Saying otherwise would be a guess.
Sixth, build your team slowly, with real people. The referral rules reward real, KYC-verified friends who actually claim, and they remove fake or duplicate accounts. Do not buy referrals, do not join teams that ask for your login, and do not pay anyone for a boost. cPen’s terms also require you to disclose that you earn HATN from invites when you share your link, which is exactly what this guide does.
If you already use exchanges, my Binance guide, my OKX guide, my Bybit guide and my Bitget guide all cover listed coins, which is a different world from cPen’s in-app stage. My Pi Network guide and my Rubi Block guide are the closest cousins to cPen in this series, and the comparison is useful throughout: Pi reached an open mainnet, Rubi is still unlisted, and cPen sits between them, with two tokens already distributed and a third still in-app only.

How HATN mining actually works, and what it pays in 2026
The mechanics are simple, and that simplicity is the point. You open the app, claim HATN, and come back for up to three more claims the same UTC day. Your phone performs no heavy calculations, uses no extra battery beyond opening the app, and needs no special equipment. What you are really doing is checking in to confirm you are an active, real person in the network, and the network rewards that attention with HATN. Think of it less like digging for gold and more like a daily check-in that happens to pay in an in-app balance.
Your daily total is not fixed, because multipliers rise across the day’s claims, and referral and steps bonuses sit on top. At the reported figures, a perfect day is 24.5 HATN before bonuses. Over a month of perfect days that would be around 735 HATN, but that is arithmetic on second-hand figures, not a promise, and missed days can deduct from your balance rather than simply earning nothing. I will not print a current daily rate as official fact, because the terms deliberately say the values in effect are shown in the app and may change without notice. Check the rate shown in your own app, and be suspicious of any article that quotes you a precise October rate without showing where it came from.
Do not import the exchange sections of my other guides into cPen. There is no spot trading, no futures trading, no grid trading, no launchpool and no learn-and-earn quiz system for cPen that I could verify. The quiz answers hub that this series mentions for exchanges does not exist for cPen, because there is no cPen quiz programme. cPen’s earning system is daily claims, referrals, steps, in-app tasks, social features, Dan credits and Burnchase, which I cover next.
All the free-earning ways, honestly listed
Daily HATN claims are the base. Up to four claims per UTC day, base 5 HATN with rising multipliers, plus the streak system and Reclaim described above.
Referrals are the biggest booster. The reported 19 October 2026 terms give the inviter 75 HATN for the next eligible invite and 25 HATN for each additional one, give each invited friend 25 HATN, and pay the inviter 10% of each referred friend’s daily mining rewards on days the inviter also claims. Ten eligible invites would work out to 300 HATN for the inviter and 250 HATN for the friends combined, by arithmetic on the reported rates. Store install plus KYC completion are the conditions, and covered or protected days earn no referral reward.
Steps red packets have been live since 16 October 2026. Every 1,000 steps earns one red packet, up to 10 per day at 10,000 steps, each containing a random amount of HATN or Dan. Packets must be opened in order before the daily reset, unopened packets do not carry over, and the amounts and odds are shown in-app only. I will not quote a per-packet figure, because none is published.
In-app Earn tasks and challenges pay extra rewards for simple tasks, and cStory lets you share moments, follow members and discover community stories. No task list, amount or frequency is published outside the app, so I will only confirm that these features exist.
Dan credits are the in-app currency with no cash value. You earn Dan through Burnchase and through steps packets, and you spend it on the Wall, a community board where members post services, projects, advertisements and announcements for periods of 3 to 90 days. Dan cannot be cashed out or transferred as a token.
Burnchase is not free for a new joiner, and that distinction matters. It lets you permanently burn CPEN to earn Dan credits at a price-protected five-minute quote. If your referrer is a Community Ambassador, 20% of the burned tokens go to the referrer and 80% are permanently burned; without an Ambassador referrer, 100% are burned, and you always receive 100% of the Dan earned. Ambassador badges run Bronze, Silver and Gold, and qualifying requires KYC, account age and active referrals. Since a new joiner owns no CPEN, Burnchase is a feature for old miners, not a starting route.
Chasepot, the free-entry weekly 6/45 prize draw with winning numbers generated by Chainlink VRF on Arbitrum, is paused, with no draws running. When it was live, eligibility required KYC verification, a 3+ day mining streak, an active session and a linked BSC wallet, and US residents were excluded. Do not factor it into any decision today.
The buyback-and-burn programme is not a user earning route at all, but it is the project’s economic engine, and it is worth understanding. Advertising revenue buys CPEN and INK on PancakeSwap at randomised times through the day, and the balance is swept to the burn address from 02:00 UTC daily. It supports the tradeable tokens indirectly. It does not pay you anything directly.
Here is the free-coins hunting checklist that actually works for cPen today. Make all four UTC claims before the reset. Keep your streak alive with personal and vacation cover, and use Reclaim within 30 days if you slip. Walk to 10,000 steps and open your red packets in order. Do your Earn tasks. Invite real friends through a store install and help them finish KYC. Save a self-custody BSC address in the app. Never pay anyone, never connect a wallet to a claim site, and never use an exchange deposit address for a distribution.
KYC, wallet and withdrawal: the real position
KYC with a liveness check is required for token distributions. That much is verified in the whitepaper, the terms and user reports. For CPEN, the deadline was 11 March 2025. For INK, it was 21 August 2026. For HATN, no distribution date, no KYC deadline and no conversion mechanism has been announced. That gap is the central uncertainty of the whole project, and any article that fills it with a date is guessing.
Withdrawals work differently from an exchange. There is no withdrawal button and no claim website. Distributions are sent automatically to the BSC wallet address saved in the app. For INK, that means three automatic phases, a 5% total processing fee, and a final missed-phase deadline of 1 September 2027. For HATN, there is nothing to withdraw yet. If someone sends you a claim link, a wallet-connection page or a message asking for your recovery phrase or for funds to release a distribution, it is a scam. cPen’s team warns explicitly that anyone can create a fake pool or a token using the INK name, and that you must always verify the complete contract and pool addresses.

The safety box: contracts, fake pools and the warnings that matter
Verify by contract address, never by name or ticker. CPEN on BNB Smart Chain is 0x41dF31fF0a7C35Eb9b12752f2A5C87C3a9C109f8. INK on BNB Smart Chain is 0xCe22bBCaa12cA5fF3e163D5D32A425723B2d2F4c. The official INK pool is PancakeSwap V3 INK/WBNB at a 1% fee tier, and the team states plainly that any other INK pool was not created by cPen Network. HATN has no contract, because it is not an on-chain token.
There is no claim website. Distributions are automatic. There is no form to fill, no wallet to connect and no fee to pay to release a distribution, beyond the 5% INK processing fee that is taken from the distribution itself. Anyone asking you to connect a wallet, share a recovery phrase, send funds or pay a release fee is running a scam.
Do not use a centralised-exchange deposit address for a cPen distribution. The team warns that INK is not listed on any centralised exchange and that tokens sent to an unsupported exchange address may be permanently lost. Use a self-custody wallet you control, and double-check the address you save in the app, because missed phases are only re-sent once the address is fixed, and only until 1 September 2027 for INK.
Watch the data you hand over. KYC needs an identity check with liveness, and the steps programme uses your phone’s step count. The Play listing’s data-safety notes say the app collects personal info, health and fitness data and other types, and shares photos, videos and app activity with third parties, with data encrypted in transit and deletion requestable. The whitepaper mentions regular security audits but publishes no audit report I could find, so treat that claim as unsubstantiated. Decide for yourself whether the trade is worth it before you verify.
Risks, scam warnings and honest negatives
HATN has no value today and no cash-out date. The store listing says so, the whitepaper says so, and the mainnet has no date, only a public testnet planned for 2027. Months of tapping currently earn an in-app balance with an unannounced conversion. That is the single biggest risk, and it should sit above every other consideration.
The tradeable tokens are thin and volatile. CPEN at roughly $0.00082 has about $23,000 of liquidity, and INK at its last dated price had about $41,000. Selling any meaningful amount would move the price, and one tracker notes CPEN is not trading on any trusted exchange and sits well below its August 2026 high. These are not markets you can rely on for a clean exit.
The goalposts have moved twice, and users have noticed. The most-liked critical Play reviews complain that the project first had users mine CPEN, then switched them to INK, and now pushes HATN mining, with forced ads along the way, while some long-term miners report ending up with only a dollar or two of value after years. A counter-voice exists, praising how smoothly the project navigated the transitions, and the overall rating of 4.1 from 26,000 reviews hides a polarised split, with far more five-star than one-star reviews but thousands of one-star reviews too. Read both sides before you decide.
Distribution problems are reported by real users. Some report completing KYC and adding a BSC wallet long ago and still seeing a verified balance of zero, or not receiving an INK distribution to their wallet. The official explanation for lower-than-expected amounts is that distribution uses verified balances only: referral rewards count only for referred users who completed KYC and liveness, and the referral mining bonus depends on the referrer’s own activity rate. If your numbers look low, that is the first place to check, and the second is whether the wallet address saved in the app is correct.
Ads are the business model, and they cost your time. The app contains ads, the closed loop is explicitly funded by advertising revenue, and several reviewers describe forced or multiple daily ads. The honest question is not whether cPen is free, because it is, but whether the minutes it takes every day are worth an in-app balance with no announced conversion. For some people the answer is yes, as a lottery ticket on a future network. For others it is no, and that is a reasonable answer too.
The team is small and the roadmap has slipped. A mainnet once pencilled for early 2026 is now an undated Human Attention Network with a 2027 testnet, Chasepot is paused, and CPEN’s 12% mainnet allocation was retired. None of that proves bad faith, and the project has delivered two real token distributions with on-chain verification, which is more than most mining apps manage. But it does mean you should not plan around any date the project has not fixed in writing.
My honest verdict and system
Here is my system, and my verdict, in one place. Join only through the official store app, only with a code you trust, and only if you accept that HATN has no cash value today. Claim all four times a day, protect your streak, walk your steps, do your tasks, invite real people and help them verify, and keep a correct self-custody BSC address saved in the app. Ignore every claim site, every paid boost, every price prediction and every listing rumour until cPen announces it on cpen.io or its official channels.
My verdict is measured. cPen is one of the more transparent mining apps I have covered: real contracts, real distributions, real daily burns you can check on-chain, and a whitepaper that says plainly that HATN cannot be withdrawn today. That transparency is genuinely rare. But transparency about a token with no value is still a token with no value, and the project’s history of switching tokens twice means today’s HATN could, in principle, be followed by another reset before any conversion. Mine it only with time you can afford to lose, treat every HATN figure as provisional until the Human Attention Network announcement arrives, and check back on the INK Phase 2 date of 11 December 2026 only if you are an old INK miner. If you want listed coins with real markets today, my exchange guides are the better starting point. If you want a free, low-effort lottery ticket on a future network, cPen is an honest one, as long as you join with your eyes open.

Frequently asked questions
Is CPEN mining still open?
No. CPEN mining ended on 28 February 2025, and distribution to verified miners began on 24 March 2025. New joiners cannot mine CPEN.
Can I mine INK today?
No. INK mining ended on 30 July 2026, and the app switched to HATN automatically. INK is now only being distributed to miners who passed KYC by 21 August 2026.
What do I mine if I join cPen today?
HATN, the Human Attention Token, through up to four daily claims. HATN is currently an in-app balance that cannot be withdrawn, transferred or sold.
Is there a signup bonus for joining with a code?
Under the referral programme reported on 19 October 2026, an invited friend earns 25 HATN and the inviter earns 75 HATN for their next eligible invite and 25 HATN for each one after that, plus 10% of the friend’s daily mining rewards on days the inviter also claims. The friend must install from the App Store or Google Play and complete KYC, or the reward is removed. No bonus specific to any one code has been verified.
When is the INK Phase 2 distribution?
11 December 2026 at 18:00 UTC, with Phase 3 on 5 March 2027. These phases are only for miners who passed KYC by 21 August 2026. New joiners do not qualify.
When is the cPen mainnet?
There is no launch date. The planned network is now called the Human Attention Network, with HATN as its planned native token, and a public testnet is planned for 2027. How HATN balances will move to it has not been announced.
Can I withdraw HATN to my wallet today?
No. HATN is not an on-chain token today and cannot be withdrawn or transferred. Do not trust any site or person offering to convert or release it for you.
Is cPen safe?
The official app and site are legitimate and the token contracts and burns are verifiable on-chain, but the project requires KYC with a liveness check, collects personal and step-count data, and its rewards currently have no cash value. The biggest risks are fake pools, fake claim sites and messages asking for your recovery phrase or funds. Verify everything by contract address on cpen.io.
