1. Our Mission
CAAW News exists to make news understandable. Every story we publish should answer three questions: what happened, why it matters, and what to watch next โ in language any reader can follow.
2. Accuracy and Verification
Accuracy outranks speed. Breaking claims require two independent sources or an official confirmation. Data, documents and on-chain records are linked where possible so readers can verify for themselves. Crypto and airdrop content is researched hands-on against official project channels before publication.
3. Independence
Our journalism is independent of advertisers, sponsors and subjects. Sponsored content is always clearly labeled and never influences editorial judgment, ratings or trust scores. Gifts, paid trips or favors that could compromise independence are not accepted.
4. Fairness and Balance
We present relevant perspectives fairly, distinguish fact from opinion, and give subjects of critical coverage a chance to respond. Headlines must reflect the story โ no misleading clickbait.
5. Corrections
When we get something wrong, we fix it promptly and transparently. Significant corrections carry a visible notice on the article. Readers can report errors via our contact page; every report is reviewed.
6. Sourcing and Anonymity
We prefer on-the-record sources. Anonymous sourcing is used only when the information is newsworthy, cannot be obtained otherwise, and the source’s credibility has been established with an editor.
7. Plagiarism and AI
All published work must be original. Any use of AI tools in research or drafting is disclosed internally and reviewed by a human editor before publication. Plagiarism is grounds for immediate termination of contributor relationships.
