What is Teneo Protocol?

Teneo Protocol is building a decentralized data layer for the AI-agent economy on the Peaq network. Users run a lightweight node that collects and structures public web data — with a focus on social-media data — which AI agents then pay to access, via pay-per-result using x402/USDC. Contributors are rewarded with Teneo Points and $AGENTIC for uptime and valid data contributions.

The project reports more than 300,000 builders and node runners. Teneo raised a $3 million seed round in February 2025 with partners including RockawayX, Borderless Capital, Generative Ventures, CertiK Ventures, Moonrock Capital, Outlier Ventures, and EOT Ventures. Season 4 is currently active, and the project appeared in “Confirmed Crypto Airdrops October 2026” roundups.

Important context: $AGENTIC is currently non-transferable — it is described as the first on-chain step toward a future $TENEO token, but conversion terms and a TGE date are unconfirmed. Rewards are speculative until those details publish.

How to join the Teneo airdrop

Install the Teneo Community Node browser extension, or download the Teneo Beacon desktop app from the official GitHub releases — the Beacon is the project’s current focus.

Connect your wallet and create your Smart Account from the dashboard, then mint your Machine ID to tie your device to the network (this costs a small amount of Peaq gas). Link your X and Discord accounts in your profile, set agent mode to “Contribute & Earn,” and keep the node running. Maintain daily heartbeat streaks — consistency compounds your points — and invite friends with your referral link. Note the limits: one Beacon per IP, and running more than about 20 Beacons per account risks Sybil disqualification.

Is Teneo legit?

Teneo has disclosed funding ($3M seed), named venture partners, a live product, and a real on-chain rewards token. The honest caveats: $AGENTIC cannot be traded today, the $TENEO token has no announced launch date, and conversion of $AGENTIC to $TENEO is not guaranteed. Treat this as a legitimate but speculative farming opportunity — never spend money you cannot afford to lose on gas or setup.

Safety tips

No real airdrop ever asks for your seed phrase. Download the Beacon app only from official GitHub releases and the extension only from the official store listing. Never pay anyone for “early $TENEO access.”
