What Imperial Is

Imperial is a Solana-based perpetual futures trading venue. It started as a unified trading terminal that routed perps trades across Solana venues, and on 20 October 2026 it folded its Armada perpetuals engine into the main platform and shut down its separate Phoenix venue, aiming for one perpetual futures exchange on Solana instead of several.

Its flagship product, Armada, is described as Solana’s first “perp AMM”: an automated market maker for perpetual futures that sources liquidity from large DeFi venues, including Hyperliquid, so traders can access deeper order books without leaving Solana. Imperial claims Armada’s BTC order books are almost seven times deeper than leading Solana venues and charges a 1 basis point taker fee — $1 in fees per $10,000 of notional trade size. Those depth and fee figures are Imperial’s own claims, reported by SolanaFloor and Crypto Briefing, not independently audited measurements.

Why It Matters

Solana’s perps market has historically been split across venues with thinner books and wider spreads than centralised exchanges. A single venue that genuinely aggregates that liquidity, at a 1 bp taker fee, would matter to active Solana traders — if the depth survives the Phoenix shutdown and the fee holds once the merged exchange is fully running. Crypto Briefing reports Armada recorded $23.16 million in notional trading volume in the week of 13 October 2026, up 52% on the week before, but that is one week’s figure from research findings cited by Crypto Briefing, not a guarantee of lasting volume.

Imperial also runs a live Points programme. Its official Points page (imperial.space/points) invites users to log in to view their points, rank and active bonuses, with a Season Rank Progress ladder of seven ranks, from Freeman to Emperor. Points are the reason this project appears in October 2026 airdrop watchlists — but, as the honest flags below stress, points are not tokens.

Proceeds are earmarked for expanding the product suite: the perps aggregator, a prime lending platform, and Armada. How to Join, Step by Step

Joining is wallet-based, not email-based. The standard dev1-email signup pattern does not apply here: Imperial requires a compatible non-custodial Solana wallet, and the farming step must use a wallet the project controls, never an exchange address.

1. Go to the official platform only: open https://www.imperial.space in your browser and check the address bar. Do not trust lookalike domains, and never connect a wallet from a link in a random social post.
